ploop software package provides tools to work with ploop devices and images, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ploop
ploop is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ploop package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ploop *
You will get with ploop package name, version, architecture and description in a table
